How to be a good steward for God

For you to desire to be a good steward, you must first understand the concept of stewardship as it pertains to Christianity. God is in the business of restoring mankind to his original plan and purposes and calls every believer to partner with Him in this great mission.
Jesus admonished us in Matthew 6:10 to pray that God’s kingdom should come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. The ultimate goal is for the Kingdom of this world to become the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Revelation 11:15 which is commonly referred to as the Kingdom Mandate
Who is a Steward?
A steward is someone who manages what belongs to another.
Kingdom stewardship means you are responsible for managing the affairs of God and dedicating your life to the cause and purpose of God’s kingdom in whatever situation and circumstance you find yourself.
God has committed the matter of the Kingdom into your hands, what are you doing with it? Are you fulfilling it as a good steward?
You have to e sensitive to what He tells you to do and be quick to obey it.
Features of a good steward
- He recognizes and admits that God owns everything including his life and seeks to fulfill God’s ultimate purpose for his life; Romans 14:12
- He understands times and seasons, knowing fully well that God has different assignments for different seasons; 1Chronicles 12:32
- He is a yielded vessel in the hand of God; 2Timothy 2:21
I urge you therefore to make a decision to be one of those who the Lord can count on for His Kingdom agenda
